As he lies in bed with his wife he begins to do his morning routine; washing his face with cold water to wake him up out of sleep. He begins to tie his shoes while looking up noticing and starts to gaze upon old family photos, remembering there faces that once were. He's out the door by six jogging in the cold morning mist. While jogging in the dark woods he stumbles upon a dimly lited hidden passage that has a tunnel on the other end. He begins to catch his breath as he is gasping for air. He walks towards the passage way, he pears inside out of utter curiosity. He begins to get on his knees to start crawling on the leaves peering deeper into the tunnel amused to what he uncovered.
In the dimly lit tunnel he finds old valuables from his past. He touches the objects as he's remembering the role they once played in his life. He comes upon an old football reminding him of when he was younger playing tackle football outside his front yard with his younger brother. He begins crawls even deeper a finds an old treasure box filled with his past memories. Flashbacks are racing in his mind of his childhood and life experiences. At the end of the tunnel was an even bigger door, a door that looked familiar. It opens by itself flooding in with the past. In awe he is wide eyed he falls to his knees and bangs his head on the kitchen floor. Flashing lights are circling around his eyes fast memories come in and out of him being born. The light is too bright to see even with his eyes closed. He claws towards the light then it became dark. His heart is pounding and opens his eyes to find all his loved ones in the woods. His wife comes forward to hug him to whisper in his ear " I love you." Everything fades to black everyone disappears into the woods.
In the morning his wife wakes up next to her husband. She touches him as he appears to be asleep. He feels cold, she shakes him trying to wake him up screaming out his name. Nothing, he remains still. She finds that he is dead. Crying and kisses his cheek. He died in his sleep in the early morning.
