It was December 16, we were driving to Minnesota. It was snowing outside. The trees were hanging over us slowly turning white. There was billion of stars in the smokey dark sky. It was a nice cold….a fresh cold. Music was playing softly in the background. My sister was sleeping in the passenger seat. My mother staring motionlessly at the never ending road. Headlights streaming through the car every once in awhile. it was nice, it was quiet, it was peaceful.

Then I woke up... And a cold white blanket, looking up in the sky. A bright light looking down on us, red and blue lights in the far distance. I can still hear the music playing in the background, and feel the snowflakes fall ever so lightly on my face. A man pops in from the corner of my eye. Telling me to stay still, don't move, stay awake, while shining his flashlight in my face

I feel myself being lifted and moved to a bright light, my eyes had to adjust to. I find myself being rolled down a hallway, watching the lights pass by. I see my mother and my sister, I walk up to them. We were all silent. We laid down and we all went to sleep.
